LitReel ("we", "us") operates the website litreel.com, which features short video book trailers and book recommendations. The operator is Lamba Alexandru (an individual), based in Romania (EU). For any privacy question, contact contact@litreel.com.

We do not collect sensitive data and never ask for payment details — purchases happen on our partners' sites (Amazon, Bookshop.org), not on LitReel.

- Running and securing the site — legal basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)).
- Analytics & marketing (e.g. measuring ads) — legal basis: your consent via the cookie banner.
4. Who we share data with
We work with providers who process data on our behalf:
- Google Firebase (Google) — hosting, database (newsletter emails), infrastructure.
- Affiliate partners — Amazon Associates and Bookshop.org. When you click a product link, an affiliate cookie lets a purchase be attributed to us. We do not share your email with them.
- Advertising platforms (e.g. TikTok, Google) — only if you accept marketing cookies, to measure campaigns.
Some providers may process data outside the EU, under appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).

6. How long we keep data
- Newsletter email — until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.
- Technical/analytics data — limited periods per provider settings (typically up to 14-26 months).
